A twitter space is a way of having a live audio conversation via twitter. It is a fairly new innovation on twitter and the Physiotalk team thought it might be a great new way to debate and discuss physiotherapy issues.
To find out more about twitter spaces and all the ‘tech’ side then best to take a look at what twitter themselves are saying! The main thing you need to know really is that it is really only accessible on your phone, as twitter on the web is quite limited and you won’t be able to join the twitter space from your PC or laptop.
So what do you do to join our #Physiotalk space?
- We will tweet out the link ahead of the space starting at 8pm on a Physiotalk Monday
- You will see the link go live and the live space appear on your home screen on your iOS or Android twitter app
- You click to join the space and you should be able to hear the conversation between a physiotalk host and our guest speaker
- We will have a live chat for up to 20-30 minutes before moving out into our usual twitter based hashtag bound discussions, to widen our participation beyond the limits of listening into a twitter space
This may change as we test out and trial Twitter spaces of course – but this is the general plan for the first few chats, starting from 10th October 2022.
