It is results time! Thousands of school leavers will have got their results (the Higher results came out on 8th August in Scotland) or will be anxiously awaiting their arrival, with A level results published on 17th August in the rest of the UK.
This means that places might be secured to study physiotherapy at their chosen university, or hopes might be dashed when the results are not as expected. But as many of us know, there is ‘No right path’ when it comes to your career and the traditional path from school straight to university may not be the way that many people enter our profession.
So the #physiotalk tweetchat on Monday 14th August at 8pm BST will look at some of the aspects of entry into a physiotherapy career – whether this be via an undergraduate degree or not. The routes are now wider than ever with apprentice degrees to DPT on offer. We would love to hear your career path into physiotherapy in the hope that this will inspire future physiotherapists, and reassure those whose results may have dashed their hopes this time around, that there are different paths they can choose into physiotherapy as a career!
