We’re delighted to have teamed up with Therapy Expo for a second year in a row, this time on Monday 26th October at 8pm(GMT) when we’ll be tweet-chatting about neuro-rehabilitation.
Therapy Expo 2015 has an excellent CPD stream this year on Neuro Rehabilitation (full programme here) with world class speakers joining us. Do you work with clients within Spinal Injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis or Stroke? Are you interested in the latest evidence looking into gait rehabilitation, FES, spasticity management, splinting, falls prevention, and stretching?
During this discussion we’ll cover some of the key issues in neuro-rehabilitation, for both children and adults: within your current neurological clinical area what are your main influences on improving patient outcomes? Is this helped by current research? Are there one or more specific things in the current set up that hinder your ideal ability to improve rehab outcomes?
This is aimed to be very much a discussion of hands on, coal face application of your neuro rehab and how you feel this is influenced by research, equipment and clinical drivers.
Competition and special offer
On the day of the chat we’ll be offering the chance to win a free ticket to Therapy Expo. Entry is easy – all you need to do is tweet you answer to the following question – if you were to win a place at #therapyexpo which seminar would be your first choice and why? You’ll need to include the hashtag and there’ll be bonus points for using the Twitter name of the speaker!

Q2 – How much do you feel you can apply current research with paediatric and adult neuro rehab to your own personal practice?
Q3 – Within your area of work is there one factor you would change that currently hinders your ability to provide rehab for people with neurological problems?
Q4 – What would be your ideal improvement in neuro rehab in today’s clinical climate?
Q5 – Within your clinical area what technology or equipment has aided your delivery of rehab in the last few years?
It was a busy chat with lots of interesting contributions and suggestions. You can find the transcript here, which includes a link to analytics and participants.
