Our next #physiotalk is on Monday 24th October at 8pm BST. We will be joined again by Jane Culpan, a lecturer at Queen Margaret University who has a special interest in physiotherapy and public health, this time alongside Karen Hicks, who is leading on the first BSc in Public Health in Scotland
We are also going to be trying out something a little different again on Monday – we will start the chat in a ‘Twitter Space’. This will mean you will have a chance to listen in directly to Jane and Karen answering a few questions about Public Health and Physiotherapy. We will extend this to a longer chat this time around as the first Twitter space seemed to work very well! If you want to set a reminder for the pace – click here!
How do I join a twitter space?
The link to the space is pinned to the top of our twitter feed and you will see it ‘Go Live’ at 8pm BST on Monday. There is information about Twitter spaces on our website if you want to find out a bit more.
The most important thing is that is it much easier to join in a space from your phone – Android or iPhone both work well. But it can be more difficult from an iPad or the web app – so we recommend using your phone to listen in!
There is also an option to request to speak in the space – so a chance to ask a question directly to Jane and Karen.
What then?
After we have started with a short discussion in the twitter space we will then move to our normal tweeted out questions bound by the #physiotalk hashtag. We hope using both a Twitter Space and our usual tweet chat will allow everyone to take part and not be disadvantaged by our trial of a space. It is a bit of an experiment for us – so please bear with us as we continue to try out a space!
